Hello! My name is Jerry Rosen. I’m the founder and principal of JRC Training Solutions, a training consulting firm. JRC uses proven processes, methodologies, and resources to help make individuals in the workplace more productive and the organizations they work for more profitable. Although we specialize in sales training, we do work in many other areas too.

This website gives you an easy way to obtain information and tools to increase the return on investment of your training time and dollars. If you need clarification on anything you see here, or if you’d like to give feedback or discuss related topics, let us know.

JRC Framework for Performance Development and Growth

Clients get started working with JRC in many different ways. Here’s a typical scenario of how clients interact with JRC.

First, someone in the client organization purchases and uses a JRC book.

A logical next step is to contact JRC. We’ll set up a brief consultation to discuss how your organization can effectively address its most pressing training requirements. For example, we might focus on potential audiences for training or how to provide a step-by-step ‘‘roadmap’’ for organizing and managing the design, development, and testing of training in your organization. This initial consultation generally takes one day or less. It can occur by phone but is best done in person.

Then, depending on the client’s specific situation and needs, JRC might be asked to begin a more comprehensive involvement. For example, JRC might be retained to undertake a more detailed review of the client’s current training and identify strengths, weaknesses, and make explicit recommendations for improvement.

Often an assessment of this type leads to JRC being asked to design a custom training program. For example, JRC develops facilitated workshops, seminars, and meetings; self-paced self-study materials; just-in-time job aids; and reference tools.

Finally, at the continuous improvement level, concentration is on consulting services designed to enhance an organization’s overall training process/capabilities. For example, JRC might provide training-related quality assurance or project management.

Getting Ahead of the Competition

Review the questions below. If your answer to any question is Yes, JRC can help you gain a significant competitive advantage.

  • Do you have senior-level responsibility for putting into place programs that actively promote learning?

  • Do you need to know how training is linked to the bottom line?

  • Are you involved at a hands-on level with training development and/or delivery?

  • Do you ever wonder how other organizations, including competitors, achieve their training goals? Or what they do to translate theory into practice as they develop new training programs and update older ones?

  • Are you sometimes uncertain about how to target the key people who would most benefit from training? Or how to give them the exact type of training they need to become top performers?

  • Do you occasionally wonder how you’re going to meet training challenges raised by increased competition, rapidly changing markets, or the accelerated pace of technology?

  • Do you need to know how to benchmark training best practices or measure program results?

  • Do you ever feel like you’re working in a vacuum as you search high and low for innovative and creative training ideas that will give your organization a professional edge?
